The MTR is the cheapest way to move around in Hong Kong. The MTR system pass through the three main regions of Hong Kong – Mainland Kowloon section, Hong Kong Island and the Lantau Island.
The Hong Kong Disneyland is located on the Lantau Island. Here’s a guide on how you can reach HK Disneyland, The Big Buddha and HK Airport from the Kowloon area of Hong Kong.
Start Your Journey
Assuming that you start your journey at the Mongkok MTR Station, and your destination being the Disneyland Resort, you need to change lines twice – first, at Lai King Station and then at the Sunny Bay MTR Staion.
The Mongkok ↔ Lai King stations falls under the Tseun Wan Line. Once you reach Lai King from Mongkok, you need to change to the Tung Chung line and alight at the Sunny Bay Station. From here, you finally change to the Disneyland Resort line that will lead you right out to the Disneyland Resort entrance.
